Custom Map Markers

When creating or editing a route, MVP members can place Map Markers to mark points of interest along their routes. This will let you mark important places along your routes like restrooms, water stations, places to get medical assistance, and more!

To use Map Markers, you'll want to click on the route line to generate a new point for you to place the route marker:

Then, you will want to click on the point that you have created to expand more options:

Click the Add Map Marker button in order to add a marker. This will give you a few options for common places of interest on a route.

Once you've chosen the marker you'd like to use, you can leave the default text or add your own. Then click the Save button to add the marker to your route. You'll see the marker you selected display on the point you created:

You'll be able to see this Map Marker on the saved route and in the directions included for the route so anyone who views this route will be able to know where these important landmarks are on your route.
